Fright Train

Scared to see the light
I'm all the way on board
strapped in tight
awake again on an all night fright
heart racing against death
I'm afraid for my life
bow my head & hope for a savior
but there are rules in this game
& there's only one player
Having the option to quit
with no second chances
no restart
no re-do
no manual enhancements
the only chance I have at advancing
is to simply endure
no advice has been given
no antidote
no cure
so I close my eyes & cry out for help
I'm lost in this world
still killing myself
for this thing called life...
